Last Day in Sydney

Lance and I walked all day.  We must have gone 7 miles.  Between going on the Opera Tour (very interesting would recommend), Contemporary Art Museum, Botanical gardens, shopping and eating we are spent.  We were so tired we didn’t even go to dinner.  We did have a drink or two in the executive lounge and met a couple from Napa.  We chatted so long we ended up exchanging emails and will visit next time we are in California.

This morning I am waiting in anticipation of meeting the first of 6 relatives.  I feel a little nervous and the rest excitement.  Cherry and John Tiffney are meeting us in the lobby at 10:30 so I better run to get ready.  Here are a few photos from yesterday.  The Contemporary art museum had some pretty strange art forms.  I have posted one of them.  Remember you can click on the photos and they will become bigger.  Look at Spiderman.  Yikes!

  1. You must be pooped! But fear not, the Tiffneys (who can be verrrry scary….joking), will look after you. You have nothing to worry about, Pammie, believe me. Wait till you get to their place…it’s gorgeous (just like them). Chezzy’s just a bit ticked off about the weather forecast, but hopefully the rain/storms won’t happen. Enjoy Bundeena, it’s a great little seaside village. Wen Date: Sun, 12 Oct 2014 21:41:09 +0000 To: wendymied@hotmail.com

    • It didn’t get in our way too much today. We are having quite the storm right now. I am trying to get caught up on the blog and everyone is asleep in the house but me. Thunder and lightning. Love it. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

  2. Hi Pam, I enjoyed your photos and stories. That strange bird that was in your photo is a very commom bird to the Southern Hemisphere, called Sacred Ibis. It looks a bit eery… Have fun and enjoy the rest of your adventure…
