Great Wall of China

Finally we got to walk on the Great Wall of China. The wall is said to be 5,500 miles long. It was mostly built in the Ming Dynasty but started way before that time period. It is said to look like a long dragon weaving its way through the mountains of China. Lance and I went to a part of the wall called Mutianyu Great Wall. There we took a ski chair ride up the mountain to the wall. After walking the wall for a time we road the Toboggans down the mountain. That was so fun. I forgot to take my camera setting off video so they didn’t come out as clear as photos do. I have the video though and can take still shots from the video later. The guy sliding down the taboggan in the following photo is how Lance and I are getting down from “The Great Wall.”

Heading up on the chair lift to The Great Wall.

Time to head back down by Taboggan.  Just a bit nervous I won’t be able to stop.
